Manufactured by NSC in the 1980's, these are original type NSB-7881 -  common cathode, red, 4 digit 7 segment LED displays, 15 pin connection.

New old stock - see photos, still with the plastic protective covers on the display fronts. A device which is getting hard to source now, at a sensible price.
