Manufactured by Texas Instruments in England in 1984, the SN74LS630JD was the military specification version of the Texas 16 bit error and detection chip.

A rare chip, we cannot find another example offered for sale anywhere, let alone a new one. A nice example of bygone days when England were at the forefront of the semiconductor revolution.
  
 In a purple ceramic and heavily gold plated 28 pin DIL package, this attractive and historic chip is new and unused; this is a museum grade item, a must for serious collectors.
