Manufactured by Dowty Electrics Ltd in the UK, as their part number 1260-2N-7-1C, to military (Royal Navy) spec K1995309844, These are a full military quality double pole double throw (changeover) safety toggle switch.

For use in safety critical applications.

So the toggle has to be pulled away from the switch to allow the switch position to be changed. It is impossible to move the switch accidentally, it has to be pulled and moved before locking into the new position.

They are perfect new vintage stock, that were manufactured specially for the Royal Navy, and have been in long term storage for the last 40 years

Beautifully manufactured with a very strong and positive snap switch action. Bakelite body construction with anodized aluminium black body and a chunky control knob / actuator in admiralty blue, with matching black locking.

The switch is rated to 10A at mains 250Vac, 15A at 28Vdc.
Solder tag connections (2 off).

Dimensions of the main body are 33mm x 20mm with a minimum behind panel depth of about 40mm required. Mounting hole is about 13mm.
