MIL SPEC DPDT SPRING BIAS TOGGLE SWITCH

Manufactured by NSF controls as their part number BS9572-F002-446, These are a full military quality 2 pole double throw / changeover (so can be used to control 2 circuits, on / off or on - on) SPRING BIAS RETURN toggle switch. Can of course also be used as a straight on - off switch.

So the spring bias mechanism provides a momentary switch action, which snaps back to resting position when released

They are old vintage stock, that were manufactured to military specifications, (BS9572-F002-446) 

Beautifully manufactured with a very strong and positive snap switch action. Bakolite body construction with anodized aluminium black control knob / actuator, with matching black locking rings and washers. 

The switch is rated to at least 5A at mains 250Vac.
Solder tag connections (6 off).

Dimensions of the main body are 30mm x 23mm with a behind panel depth of about 30mm required. Mounting hole is about 13mm.
