VINTAGE uELECTRONICS PHOTO TRANSISTORS

THESE ARE AN INTERESTING RARE FIND !!!

Manufactured in Japan circa 1975 by renown vintage semiconductor company Micro Electronics (uE) as the part number FPT100A, these are a general purpose early vintage silicon NPN photo transistor, with heavily gold plated leads.

These transistors were previously used by some guitar pedal and effect manufacturers, also used in SAAB and other automotive applications.

 The unusual retro dome top transistor package is synonymous with Micro Electronics. Later reproduced by Fairchild, but these ones here are the original genuine Micro Electronics Japan product.
