Manufactured by Grayhill to military specifications, these are a very high quality rotary selector switch, single pole (1 ganged ) 10 way, with heavily gold plated contacts.

To turn the switch the shaft has to be pulled out before being rotated, the shaft is spring loaded, so operation is - pull, rotate and release. These types of switches are very common in aircraft controls, they are designed to avoid any accidental operation.

These are vintage new old stock from the 1980's, the gold plating back then was considerably thicker than is found on the modern day counterparts.

Designed to be panel mounted through a 7mm panel hole with a 3mm D profile shaft - 3mm round that has a flat on it.

Dimensions are roughly 19mm across x overall length including the shaft is 55mm.

Quite a special switch, offered here at a fraction of the manufacturers price.
