Manufactured by Fujitsu in Japan in 1983, the MB15654  is an early example of FPGA,s (Field Programmable Gate Arrays),  a chip which can basically be programmed to function however the end user requires. The latest  versions of this type of chip are fundamental to how fast AI (artificial intelligence) is now changing the world.


 In a purple ceramic and heavily gold plated 40 pin DIL package, this attractive and historic chip is new and unused; this is a museum grade item, a must for serious collectors.
