RACAL-DANA LCR BRIDGE

Manufactured by Racal Dana in the UK as their type 9343M, this is a premium spec bench top precision bridge, for the measurement of Inductors (L) Capacitors (C) and Resistors (R) 

If you are looking for a reliable precise measuring device for L C & R, look no further, these meters are the mutts nutts and used to cost an absolute fortune. 

Check the photos for measurement examples, you will see a 10 Ohm 1% resistor measured at 10.003 Ohms, an 8.2pF 10% capacitor measured at 8.00pF and a 1.5uH 10% inductor measured at 1.54uH

GPIB and serial interfaces for external control

Ex military workshops, they have had very little use and are sold in perfect working and good cosmetic condition. They were in calibration up until their disposal a couple of years ago, we use one in our workshop, it beats anything we have had before for accuracy and so easy to use.

What the manufacturer says:

"The Racal Dana 9343M LCR Databridge measures inductance, capacitance, resistance, D and Q, to a basic accuracy of ±0.1% of reading for values of up to 2000 H, 2000µF, 1MΩ and 99, respectively.
Measurements can be made at frequencies of 100Hz, 1kHz or 10kHZ, as required and either the Series Equivalent or Parallel Equivalent component values can be displayed.
Range selection is fully automatic and the Databridge automatically discriminates between inductors, capacitors and resistors.
The automatic mode can be manually cancelled to enable measurement of the minor term. An internal d.c. bias voltage of 2 Volts can be selected for use when testing electrolytic capacitors. The operating system of the Databridge provides assistance to the user, in selecting the measurement mode and frequency, to give best acccuracy.
Loss of basic accuracy due to measurement of the minor term in any component is also indicated.
Measurements up to 9999H, 9999µF and 100MΩ can be made, albeit at a degraded accuracy.
