6 WAY PLESSEY  JONES PLUG

These are known as Plessey Painton connectors, being manufactured by the company of the same name. Plessey actually called them the 'Multicon' range, they are also sometimes referred to as Jones or in the USA, Cinch plugs.

This type is a 6 way male (designed primarily for chassis mount).

Two of the connections are at a 90 degree angle to the other four, thus avoiding an incorrect connection.

 Superb vintage miltary specification heavy duty connectors, the contact is provided by a heavily silver plated plug blade contact engaging with a heavily silver plated socket clip contact. Absolute reliability is ensured because each socket clip has 4 individual areas of contact with each plug blade.

Rated as high as 1000V working, and upto 10A 250V per contact.

New and unused vintage stock.

Dimensions of the body are approx 24mm x 17mm and the 4 hole mounting plate is approx 38mm x 20mm
