4 POLE 5 WAY CERAMIC ROTARY SWITCH 

Manufactured in the UK by AB switches as part of their Type 'H' range, these are new unused vintage (1957 !) military specification stock old pattern 'clunk clunk sound' heavy duty ceramic and Bakelite wafer rotary switch with heavily silver plated contacts. Extremely well constructed.

 4 pole 5 way, with 2 of the poles being break before make and the other 2 being make before break.

Shaft is standard 1/4" - 6mm and behind panel dimensions are roughly 60mm long x 50mm across. See photos for exact dimensions

Poles could be removed if required to make a switch that is not so deep, each wafer adds about 18mm to the length.

These lovely switches are new old stock but almost 70 years old and whilst most are in perfect condition, a few have slight surface corrosion to the front mounting plate, this in no way detracts from the quality or electrical performance.
