Manufactured to military specifications by the British Electric Resistance Co (BERCO) in the UK, this is a 0 to 34 Ohm rated up to 2A and 500V variable resistor / rheostat / potentiometer.

 Classic sliding control design, ceramic tubular body with cast steel, brass and Bakelite fittings with a nice chunky original control knob, rare now this is brand new and unused vintage stock, not seen the light of day since been packed in 1970.

Dimensions at maximum points are 205mm long x 50mm width, with mounting points at 195mm centers.
